Hotel Review: Daiwa Roynet Hotel Ginza, Tokyo, Japan
Location
Location ★★★★★★★★★★
Daiwa Roynet Hotel Ginza is located in the super trendy Ginza area of Tokyo. The area is filled with plenty of luxurious stores and popular shopping streets. If you’re looking for huge flagships stores from any brand you can imagine this is the place to go! Also, if you want to see the beat of Tokyo or some amazing modern buildings, Ginza is a must see.
The area also includes some temples, a fish market and regular smaller stores. The area is made for trendsetters but you can still see some more traditional Japan there.
In the Ginza area there is also a huge bunch of restaurants offering both Japanese and international food. You can basically find anything you wish to eat from walking distance of the Daiwa Roynet Hotel.
The area includes multiple metro stations and a train station nearby in case you want to go explore around – or come to Ginza from somewhere else in Japan. We came by Shinkansen (a bullet train) from Osaka and there was a 15-minute-walk to the hotel from the station. You can of course also ask the reception to call you a taxi or call it yourself if that’s how you prefer to travel around.

Daiwa Roynet Hotel is quite basic. They offer you save and comfy stay in the beat of Tokyo but the point here definitely is not to spend a lot of time in the hotel.
Daiwa Roynet Hotel has 24/7 reception in 3th floor, friendly service with good English. They also offer you breakfast from 7-10am (closes at 10.30am) in their international restaurant. That restaurant also offers lunch and dinner buffets open for anyone around. The restaurant is Italian / international but there were some Asian options in the breakfast as well.
No gym, spa or pool. However, I think you can find these all somewhere in Tokyo if you really want to go.
What was special in this hotel was laundry room available in 8th floor. You can wash your own laundry with (300 yen) which is really affordable compared to other laundry services we used during our honeymoon. Not many hotels have laundry this cheap so I think this is a good reason to go here if you are traveling with carrier only.

The room is small but includes everything mandatory – bed, tables, chairs, AC machine and ensuite bathroom. Additionally we got 2 bottles of complimentary water every day and had our own fridge for snacks.
Our small ensure bathroom included tub, shower, sink and toilet seat. Also, hairdryer and a lot of shower products were available. We also had combs, razors, dental kits and shower caps. Quite good amount of things you might need!
Other notes
During our stay Daiwa Roynet Hotel was around $200 (180€) per night for two. You should however check the up to date rate from their website .
Overall

This hotel isn’t offering you big luxurious room but the amount of amenities in the bathroom and the very affordable laundry got us in love. Moreover, you cannot have location much better than this so I think we did a good choice.
In case you’re looking for place to stay while Tokyo this is a really good option for exploring the city. If you like to be exploring whole day and just sleep and shower in your small and safe temporary home, this place is perfect for you.

Would you like to go to Tokyo? Why? Why not?
That’s not a bad price for the location. Sounds like you had a ball. I use to live in Utsunomiya-shi.
