Our Honeymoon Plans to Switzerland and Asia Part 2/4: Singapore 5 days in total
We haven’t yet been to Singapore. However, I’ve read dozens of recommendations from fellow bloggers and travelers who have already visited there. Below you can see where we would love to go and what to see and why.
The things I’m most excited to see are Garden by the Bay and the views from Marina Bay Sands hotel. We’ll be staying in that hotel for part of our time in Singapore and I am really looking forward to that! Near the hotel, there are also Singapore Flyer, the world largest observation wheel and amazing fountain with light shows daily.
I found some lovely romantic spots in Singapore by googling. We’d love to explore sunset from a gorgeous walking bridge called Henderson bridge. There are also plenty of beautiful temples to explore. Additionally, Quayside Isle @ Sentosa Cove looks like an amazing place to have a date – there is dining just by the waterfront. And not just one restaurant but there is a selection of different restaurants available.
Other things we wish to explore are Orchard Road – the best shopping street in Singapore. It’s probably quite expensive there but I believe it’s going to be interesting to see all those modern malls and what’s sold inside. If we have time, it would also be interesting to explore the world-famous zoo of Singapore and the Chinatown of Singapore. Also, if we have enough time, it would be great to visit Sentosa Island which has stunning beaches and other things to see.
What comes to the attractions the best part is that many of them are free – Botanical gardens, multiple temples, MacRitchie Treetop Walk and Henderson bridge just to mention few. Which ones you’d like to explore?
Tip: In Singapore, the public transport is working well and the signs are in English as well. Thus it’s easy to commute around in case you want to save some money.
Would you like to visit Singapore? Or do you have any recommendations for a honeymoon there?
I have been to Singapore and its lovely, you can really make use of the local transport, both buses and trains are very convenient. Orchard road offers best of the brands and posh life of Singapore. Suggesting punggol, if you like secluded beaches, its a beautiful place

I haven’t been to Singapore but my friend is travelling there right now. I’ll chat to her to see if she has any golden nuggets to share when she’s back – it does look like such a beautiful and magical place, the architecture alone is stunning!
