Are you looking to explore the beautiful beaches of Pärnu and enjoy some spas while in there? Pärnu is a lovely little city in Estonia filled with good beaches, delicious food and some nice hotels around. The city is full of life, especially during the summer season – and Estonia Resort Hotel & Spa is a great place to be because it’s near the beaches and other interesting places in Pärnu!
I guess I’ve been a bit lazy with these billion hotel reviews from last summers road trip, ooops! We visited Pärnu and this hotel during late July last year. I think I still have a couple of posts to write from the last summer’s trip. I wish to get all of those done before the honeymoon and new places to write about. The theme of 2017-2018 has obviously been Europe. 2018-2019 we’ll be focusing more on Asia and hopefully, some guests will also share experiences from other interesting places with you guys! 🙂
Hotel Review: Estonia Resort Hotel & Spa, Pärnu, Estonia
Location
Location ★★★★★★★★★★
The Estonia Resort Hotel & Spa, Pärnu is located right next to a big park through which you can go one of the best beaches in the area. So you can easily walk around and explore. If you want to walk further or have a car, you can also go explore the rest of the city of Pärnu.

Service was nice and friendly everywhere in the hotel area. Especially during the dinner time, we got some excellent service in the dinner restaurant of the hotel. This dinner restaurant was one of our favorite parts of the hotel – the food was amazing and affordable compared to the quality. You should definitely go check it out if you’re visiting Pärnu.

Another favorite of ours was the spa area. That’s basically the reason why we went to this specific hotel. The spa includes a lot of different saunas, pools and treatment possibilities. If you want to explore scented saunas, salt water pools, jacuzzis and much more this is the place to go! Unfortunately, I was unable to take photos in the spa area but you can see some photos in the hotels website here.
In addition to traditional spa services, this hotel offers some group fitness classes and yoga. We didn’t have time to participate but they seemed to be popular with other guests. If we ever happen to visit here again we’ll go check those out.

As you guys might know I’m usually a big fan of delicious food including hotel breakfast. In Estonia Resort Hotel & Spa Pärnu the breakfast buffet kind of let me down a bit.
I mean the food was okay and there was even sparkling wine for free but nothing was outstanding. I was a bit surprised by this fact because the same restaurant was offering some amazing flavors and textures during the dinner time.

The room we had was medium sized hotel room including a king-sized bed, table, chair, mirror, some space and closet for clothes. We also had our own bathroom including a toilet, a sink and own shower. We also had our own balcony.
The room was clean and there wasn’t really anything to complain about. However, there wasn’t anything really special either. I was waiting for something amazing because this hotel was hyped quite much by my relatives but the room is definitely the part that will wow you – the spa will.

Other notes
There is parking available right in front of the hotel and it’s free for guests. You might want to come by car to be able to explore more Pärnu. Driving in Estonia is pretty easy and safe compared to the southern parts of Europe. Additionally, Pärnu is a small town so driving there doesn’t require that much skills or experience in my opinion.
Overall
Overall ★★★★★★★★★☆
If you want to have a holiday with spas and beaches ensured Pärnu is a great place to go. They have some amazing beaches and this hotel offers you wonderful spa time irrespective of the weather conditions.
The rooms or breakfast aren’t outstanding but everything is clean and service is good. Obviously while staying in Estonia Resort Hotel & Spa you should focus on being in the spa and beaches, not in your room which is okay in a place like this.
Additionally, you should go try the dinner restaurant of this hotel. The service and food are delicious and affordable. We prefer service in English but the waitresses seemed to be able to serve in Estonian, Finnish and Russian as well.
Above: If it’s not yet clear the dinner in Estonia Resort & Spa hotel was delicious. Haha, I’m such a foodie!
