Hotel Review: THB Los Molinoss Class, Ibiza, Spain
Location
Location ★★★★★★★★★☆
This hotel is located just by the beach and beach boulevards on the South-East side of Ibiza island. From the airport, you’ll need to drive a car or a taxi for around 30 minutes to get to the hotel.
The side of the island where the hotel is located is known to be more for hiking and relaxing, so this is a good location for couples (or families) wanting to relax instead of party all night long.
Near the hotel, there is the beach, beach boulevard with shops, restaurants and more beaches. Also, it will take less than five minutes to find some beautiful rocks and nature for hiking. With 30 minutes hike, you can find your way to D’Alt Vila, upper town of Ibiza. From there you’ll have amazing views over the nearest cities, beaches and sea. Ibiza castle is also very near.
Additionally, if you walk 10 minutes toward the port of Eivissa you’ll find a cute little downtown with some shopping streets and restaurants. Because shops and restaurants by the beach are only open during the summer, this little downtown was our to go place for food and shopping during the winter.
You can read more about Ibiza during the wintertime from my previous post here.

There are many services offered in this hotel. There are indoor and outdoor pools, gym, breakfast, restaurant, bars, spa with massage services, minibar, room service, laundry… and the reception is also willing to help you with anything you need from booking trips to ordering you a limo.
The breakfast was included to our stay and was probably the best part of the hotel. If you’re going to stay here, book your stay with breakfast! Do not take the other meals from the hotel however – the breakfast is outstanding but the other meals are not in the same level or even close.
The breakfast was the same everyday during our three-day-stay. It was served quite early compared to the fact we were in Ibiza. On weekdays the breakfast was from 7.30am to 10.30am, on weekend that was extended and it was from 7.30 to 11am. This hotel isn’t for the ones partying and sleeping until noon!
During the breakfast, there were healthy things served in different sections. There was own section for cold things like salads, cheese and different meats. They also served things like yoghurts, fruit juices, water, dried fruits, nuts and fresh fruit. Additionally, there was a section for warm things like omelettes, eggs, sausages and grilled mushrooms.
For the ones of you who love sweet and don’t mind eating too healthy during a holiday, there was a good selection of food and drinks too. The sweet section included things like pancakes, cupcakes, doughnuts and different jams and sauces you can eat with these. Moreover, you can have some Spanish cava with your breakfast. Pancakes and cava with a view of the pool don’t sound too bad, right?
I am focusing on healthy eating so it was great to have a good selection of healthy things. Anyhow, their pancakes are suuuuper good as well, so if you’re not in too strict diet, give them a try! 🙂 And btw I just wrote more about a breakfast than ever hahah, I just miss those salads and pancakes far too much not to mention them.
This hotel also includes complimentary fitness room for the guests. It’s a good addition, but it closes 9pm every night and isn’t really very special. There was a couple of treadmills, one cross trainer, an indoor bike which was broken and some dumbbells and couple machines for training. Personally, I preferred just walking and hiking instead of going to the fitness room but maybe you can do some kind of a workout there if it’s rainy out.
In the hotel area, there was of course pools as well. Indoors there was one small indoor pool and a jacuzzi. The pool was on maintenance during our stay. In general, they seem to do a lot of maintenance in Ibiza during the winter time.
The outdoor pools included one big one for adults and one baby sized shallow mini pool. These were operating though quite cold also during our stay in March. I found it a bit funny that the hotel is only for adults but they have a shallow baby pool there. Anyhow, it was nice to have the outdoor pool area. For us, the deck chairs were the best part. During the summer the pool is though for sure a great addition!
See the outdoor pool and pool are in this Insta story I shared from Ibiza 🙂
What comes to noise levels this hotel isn’t the best choice if you want to sleep tight until noon. There are noises of planes, cars, construction and other guests coming in all the time. And we visited during the offseason so I wonder how is it on the peak one.
Probably you’re not in Ibiza to sleep but still, I think this is worth mentioning. Fortunately, our room was quite quiet during the night (10pm to 7am) – at least during the low season.

We had a nice and quite big room with a big bed, couple of chairs, TV, minibar and tea machine. We had also own corridor with a big closet for clothes. There was also a laundry bag and shoe cleaning sponge in there.
The bathroom was big and beautiful. And there were towels and some shower cosmetics available with dental kits. I was first impressed but then I realized that we didn’t have any conditioner just a lot of shampoo and shower gel. Not cool if you’re having a long hair.
The cleanliness of the room was very good. The only small imperfection that I found was fingerprints on a lamb. Otherwise, everything seemed clean and neat.
The bed was my favorite part because it was super comfy and big. By the bed, there were small tables with one electricity plug on both sides. That isn’t obviously enough for person like me but luckily I’ve found a way how to charge all your devices when not having enough electricity plugs.
Other notes
The reception staff was amazing, super friendly and fun. What comes to customer service experience I can highly recommend TBH Los Molinoss Hotel.
The side of Ibiza where this hotel is located is known to be more for relaxing than partying. So, if you’re traveling as a couple and wanting to chill go to this side. For partying stay in wild party city, San Antonio at another side of the island instead.
However, if you want to go explore other sides of the island you can easily do it from here too. Taxis to the airport and to San Antonio where both around 15-25€ ($20-30) which isn’t very expensive for 30-40 minute drive in Europe.
Overall
Overall ★★★★★★★★☆☆
This hotel was kind of hard to review for me. There were some issues like the noise, bad dinner and the fact there was a lot of maintenance going on and we as guests were in informed about this in prior.
At the same time, this hotel offered us a super comfy place to stay with wonderful, clean room and one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Also, the poolside was really beautiful and the location was great for us to explore and relax. Additionally, I was very happy with the service we got.
With really small improvements this hotel could have get significantly better points from me. However, I could see myself going back there if we ever happen to visit Ibiza again.
