Austria Trend Hotel Doppio, Vienna, Austria is only 15 minutes away from the downtown by car. Without a car, the location of this hotel might have been a little more tricky because it’s not in a walking distance from the downtown Vienna. Close to hotel wasn’t many things to do.

The hotel offers an amazing breakfast with a huge selection of different foods and drinks. The staff was also very helpful and there were tips on what to do in the city available in the room. No pool, spa or gym but if you don’t require those, this is a nice hotel otherwise.

We got an upgrade to a huuge room. We had probably around 50m2 (540 square feet) space including a huge bedroom with different areas including couch, tables, mini bar area, big bed, hallway… We also had two bathrooms – one with toilet only and another with toilet + shower. We also had a separate dressing room for clothes.

 

The room was mostly nice with some luxurious twist. However, I found some little stains on our couch which was a big minus in a hotel this level (made me wonder how clean everything else was after all though otherwise, everything looked clean).

 

Anyhow, the bed was comfy and there wasn’t any noise or anything disturbing our sleep so we mostly were happy with this hotel and the room.

 

And sorry guys, I went crazy with the size of the room and did a video to show you that – at the same time I forgot taking more photos. Oops!

 

 

Other notes

 

We got an upgrade for free to a bigger room because they were so booked when we went there. Our room was huge but I don’t know about their regular rooms. Anyhow, the hotel was nice overall so I assume those are nice as well.

Austria Trend Hotel Doppio, Vienna, Austria was a nice experience. Our favorites were the huge room and the breakfast of the hotel. We also enjoyed the fact that there was parking space in front of the hotel and that the drive to downtown was very short.
