Looking for a nice hotel which offers Good Value for money and is near the downtown Copenhagen? Hotel Sct Thomas has a great location, clean rooms, and friendly service.
It’s not for the ones staying all day in the hotel but it’s a great to stay place for city explores who just want to sleep well to be ready for next days adventures.
Location
Location ★★★★★★★★★☆
Parking ★★★★★★★☆☆☆
The hotel is located in an area called Frederiksberg. There is some beautiful roads and buildings, little stores and restaurants around. It’s however not in the actual downtown.
In the area there is a good amount of public parking available, anyhow, there is also plenty of traffic and there was construction work going on like at every road which makes going around quite chaotic. Maybe taking a taxi, or walking or cycling around could have been easier. The hotel offers parking for 15€ per night in case you don’t want to look for parking.
Hotel and Services
Cleanliness ★★★★★★★★☆☆
Staff ★★★★★★★★★★
Request Compliance ★★★★★★★★★★
Welcome Greeting ★★★★★★★★★☆
Small and cute hotel with friendly service. It was fun that the hotel was still using regular keys instead of cards.
Note that the reception is not open between midnight and morning – so you either have to arrive before midnight or let them know your arriving time in prior.
This hotel was very valuably-priced and there wasn’t anything super special like spa or gym. If you’re rather looking a room in a nice location for exploring the city this a good choice.

Coziness ★★★★★★★★☆☆
Calm ★★★★★★★★☆☆
Comfy but smallish rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Our room had a big bed, a little table, two chairs, a little clothing rack, TV and a mirror. Simple and minimalistic but enough for one night stay.
Other notes
Fast and well-working Wi-Fi! The hotel offers breakfast with 100DK per person. Parking possibilities available at the roads near the hotel, most of those have parking fees during the daytime.
Overall

Very nice basic hotel for a night or couple nearby places to explore. The area was nice and calm that ensured you a well-slept night. Additionally this hotel offers good value for money compared to the hotel’s location near downtown Copenhagen.
What a cosy looking “just for sleep” room haha. I think this looks and sounds wonderful for ones who don’t spend all their time in the hotel room 🙂

Looks like a very decent budget hotel! As long as it’s clean and the price is kind, I’m there! I will keep this I mind if I ever go!

Lovely hotel. I always think why pay a lot for a hotel when you’re hardly in it.

That’s true! If you want to see the destination instead of just the hotel something like this is a great choice. Cozy bed, clean ensuite bathroom and a little space for your staff. That’s really all you need.

I think this is great. Sometimes it’s better to choose something like this for example if you only need to crash for the night and save your money for days when you want to spoil yourself and really enjoy everything the hotel has to offer.

Isn’t it funny how similar budget hotels are all over the world? This one looks very clean and in the end that is what is the most important thing to me. You cannot say the same for many Air BNBs. As we need to stretch the pound’s value against the Euro I am sure this is the kind of accommodation that may UK visitors will be looking for.

Yes it is! I’ve stayed in Air BNB just once and it sure wasn’t the same level as this hotel what comes to cleanliness. And yes, this sure attracts people with lower budgets. Go visit some time if you happen to be in Copenhagen Avril.

Looks like a sweet place to stay. I love the light fixture in the room! The toilet being at just a slight angle would drive me bonkers if it was in my house but I think I could manage for a night or two, haha!

The light fixture sure was a lovely detail. This hotel is great for night or two if you want to spend more time in the city than in the hotel.
