Oh wow, it’s July tomorrow. Where did the June and half of the summer go?

 

For a change, June has been the first not so busy month in my life this year. I’ve done a couple of minor school things, and worked 14.5 hours a week (wait what, me? haha) and played with the puppy, planned our upcoming travels, studies and blogged.

 

I’m super happy that my boss agreed that I can spend my 4 weeks vacation being 2 weeks abroad and doing half of my hours for 4 weeks. Super relaxing way to spend summer in my opinion! And it’s actually great for my employer too because I am taking care of my work responsibilities every week instead of being absent for 4 weeks in a row (which many people here in Finland do).

 

Anyhow, it’s been great to be able to enjoy the time writing and photographing with no rushing anywhere. I wish my fiancee could have shared these holiday weeks with me but at least we had time together during nights and weekends.

 

During June I’ve continued blogging with my post every second day schedule that I started couple months ago. In total, I published 15 posts. I have also written some scheduled content for next couple months because I know I’ll be significantly busier from August to December than I am now.

Usually, I set up some goals for next month in these wrap-up posts but because July will include a lot of traveling the blog will be mostly running with already scheduled content and I’m not setting any official goals this time. I though try to take a lot of notes and photos so that I can share all the places, hotels, restaurants, etc. with you here in the blog later this year. 🙂
