Looking for spring outfit motivation? Would you like to add some color to the grayness surrounding us out there? That’s exactly what I wanted to do when adding some pink to my otherwise black and white outfit!
This outfit was shot in even grayer time, at the end of March in Hakaniemi, Helsinki. To add some color to the scene I wanted to have those colorful building behind me. At the time of shooting this the sun was also setting beautifully but unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to wait for the sun the paint the sky to it’s most beautiful colors.
This outfit includes mostly a bit older clothes of mine. I think the scarf is bought from Vero Moda couple years ago. However it sure is still trendy as the flowers and other nature inspired prints are the thing of this season (read more about this season trends here!).
Combination of black and white is also an always trendy choice. I think I’ve shown the shoes I’m wearing earlier but I’m still going to mention how handy it is to have the heels hidden in them! That kind of heels are solution for all short and shortish people! 🙂
I love that pink shirt too much! I’m trying not to wear too much pink to make sure I look professional but it’s hard to resist since I love the energy and girly cute vibes of it. And it’s also a nice change to my too often black, gray, white and beige looks.
Scarf: Vero Moda
Shirt: YourFace
(Vest: old one)
Pants: Zara
Shoes: Calvin Klein Jeans
Bag: Calvin Klein
Watch: Apple Watch Series 2
Do you start wearing more colors when it’s springtime? What is your favorite color at the moment?
Aww You looks so adorable with that pink shirt! I don’t know about you, but I always associated Spring with the color pink. Maybe because of the Cherry Blossoms in Japan are pink. Or mostly, flowers are more associated with the color. My favorite color of all time is blue, but believe me, pink is more dominant in my wardrobe.

Oh, I love cherry blossoms! Pink is definitely the color for spring, with white and yellow. 🙂 I have a lot of neutral and black&white pieces but lately I’ve been adding some color to my wardrobe.

I love that outfit! My closet pretty much only consists of very dark colors, especially black. I’ll have to go out and get some lighter colored clothes. Thanks for the inspiration!

Lovely outfit! Pink is my favorite color 😛 hehe. We don’t have winter where I live but I used to live in NZ so I really do miss wearing winter clothes! 😛

Thank you! I think I would never miss winter if I get a change to live without it. Winter is beau but I don’t like the coldness and being too much indoors. I would love to get tanned and enjoy the sun all year long. 🙂

I love the scarf, it is so pretty & spring like also I remember those boots from another post (poss last year) and loved the fact that they had hidden heels to make short people like me appear taller :). The rest of your outfit is lovely too xx

You are looking lush. I adore cold weather and always love to wear layers as you can style them more, like you have. Keep up the great blog xx

Thank you! Yes, it’s so much easier to style and add some details when wearing layers – and they are actually really good at keeping you warm. 🙂
