My January in a Nutshell

Posted by
This year the winter went so fast. It’s starting to be spring now and it’s time to look back to my January.
I can gather about the whole month in these four photos:

1. Work, work, work
I’m doing two jobs and working around 40-55 hours a week. Luckily it isn’t always so busy now when the sales are behind. The beginnings of the January was super busy! I’m already waiting to get a little break of my both jobs during next summer.

2. Studies
I’m taking some Swedish classes, and doing some economics right now. During February I’ll begin couple medical courses too. I love studying and learning new things! That photo gathers up my spare mornings. I love to stay in bed, take my Mac and Bose Soundlink Mini || there and just listen to music, enjoy the sunrise and study. I wish I could have more mornings like this but unfortunately it doesn’t pay my rent.

5. Gym
I’ve been working out 3-5 times a week (read I’ve been living in the gym lately). I’m happy that I’ve gained some more muscles and I’m getting my fit and shape back. In February it is time for one exercise challenge with my colleagues so I’ll be seen in gym even more often haha.

4. Smoothies
I’m working on a smoothie related book idea. That means a lot of smoothie making and drinking. I have started to exercise more and I love to have a fresh and healthy smoothie after workout. This picture is taken in our balcony. It’s so nice there! It’s beginning to be sunny and warm which makes me very happy. 🙂
Here are all my posts of January if you want to read more (from the newest to the oldest):
How has your January been?

  1. Looks like you’ve been having a productive January, girl! Love the smoothie book idea, I am a smoothie lover myself. Unfortunately it’s winter and my hands always freeze when I drink smoothies now.

    1. Well it’s quite freezing in Finland too. Luckily it’s warm indoors and after indoor workouts like gym smoothies are great! I’m planning to do all the recipes during winter and spring, and during the next summer my goal is do all the photography for the book. 🙂

  2. Looks like you have had a super busy January, but it sounds like you have been really productive. I wish I could say the same. I have started a new job but I haven’t given my blog the TLC I planned too. Your smoothies look divine too so good luck for your smoothie idea!

    1. Thanks Marleen. 🙂 I can admit that when I started my main job in May I was so busy and overwhelmed with my work to do lists that I wasn’t very good blogger at that time. Now I’ve learned to deal with everything there and my second job doesn’t require so much attention. Thus I have more energy to concentrate in blog too. I hope that the same will happen to you! 🙂
