Yesterday night was my last night at work for a while because for next two weeks I’ll be traveling to Oslo, Miami and New York. The weather in Miami should be super hot (around 90 degrees, 30 in Celsius) and mostly sunny, however I’m little worried because the forecast shows some thunder storms. About every time I’ve been in the States it has been thundering more or less but if you want to beach chill and go around with convertible car it’s not too cool if it trains (or even worse, thunders). In NYC it should be around 70 degrees (15 Celsius) that’s pretty good for shopping and exploring the city in my opinion. 🙂
Yesterday we celebrated my upcoming holiday with my colleague by eating superb pizzas in Classic Pizza, Itäkeskus. That’s one of my favorite pizzerias, find my previous review from HERE (click).
Couple days ago my bf bought us high quality sparkling wine and white wine classes from Decanter Iso Omena, Espoo, Finland. They had amazing service and a lot of good tips. We asked for an offer for 6 sparkling classes and 4 whites. They gave us a good one so now we have pretty good Riedel collection for a while, 6 Vinum Sparkling Wine Classes and 6 + 6 of Overture Red & White Wine Classes. Vinum series is made of lead crystal that’s heavier and stays clear for longer period of time.
… And because he bought us such a great set of classes I decided to buy something nice to us too. Bose Soundlink Mini 2 in new Carcoal Black color is now ours. 🙂
Yesterday I went to the Restaurant Loiste (previous review from here) to celebrate the beginning of my holiday with great company, some wine and excellent food. Last time I fell in love with their pepper steak, however I didn’t like the potato cake with which it was served due menu. This time I asked to get it with their vegetables that originally belong to their reindeer dish (Säräjuurekset in Finnish). That was no problem at all and the combination was super. This time the service was a bit better than usually but not outstanding though.
Ps. I found a semisweet white wine that I like (hah, I always say I only drink semidry whites and yesterday I liked this semisweet and almost liked even the red we took in Loiste)
Pps. Stay tuned! Next two weeks will include a lot of photos, recommendations and experiences from all around the world. Additionally, I’ll make some reviews that will be published partly after my vacation. 🙂
