Couple days ago me and couple of my friends wanted to spend a day in an amusement park. Because we are in Finland the choosing process wasn’t too difficult. In Finland there is only couple amusement parks, and only one of them is located in the capital area. That park is called Linnanmäki.
When I was younger I went there every summer. Since them they have built plenty of new things there. Even after visiting some parks in the US I found Linnanmäki fun and pretty exciting. They have something for everyone from smallest toddlers to older visitors. If you’re going there for the first time I recommend you scheduling whole day for it. Even we spent 4 hours there even though we didn’t visit too many things. There were quite long lines because of nice weather and weekend. If you can prefer weekdays, especially in the beginning and end of the season.
I think full day ticket is expensive (38 euros, about $40 for an adult). If you have Finnish S-bonuskortti you can get it couple euros cheaper from Prisma and Sokos stores but it’s still expensive. The park is fun though and especially children love it.

Ps. If my top 3 favorite rides are Kingi, Kieputin and Vuoristorata if you want to try them. 🙂
