Portraits with a Friend Part 2/4

Posted by

Today I’ll publish three more photos from the portraits we shot with my friend about two weeks ago. Today’s theme is old school styled library photos. I love trying new perspectives. I also loved the library that my friend had found from the law building of Ohio Northern University’s campus area. I had never been there but oh my how gorgeous place it is! I fell totally in love with the pompous looking dark brown leather chairs and couches they had and those books – what a perfect background for our photos! I wanted to do some study related so my friend had taken her eyeglasses with her. All these elements were like created to be shot together. 🙂

After taking these pictures I felt I want to play with Photoshop a little and remind me how to make old looking photos with it. So after couple tutorials and some hours of editing I ended up to these. If you guys are interested I can made a tutorial of making old looking photos in some point. Just let me know!

And oh, am I supposed to post some photos instead of typing a book? 😀 Here you go:

Oldshool1

34mm, f/4,5, 1/50, ISO3200

I love her pose and the perspective of this one! 🙂

Oldshool2

24mm, f/4, 1/30, ISO3200

I had a lot of fun with this one! And I’m quite broud how old school looking I get this. The actual photo wasn’t very good but after cropping making the old photo effects this looks pretty nice for me.

Oldshool3

29mm, f/4,5, 1/40, ISO2500

And here one in original colors. I have just and those black “frames” but otherwise I haven’t changed to colors of this one

Background of this whole photoshoot thing and more photos can be found in my previous post: here (click)

All my photography related post will be found in category “Photography” and also with tag “photography”.
