Restaurant Review: Orange Leaf (Wisconsin Dells)

Posted by

My friends and I had high expectations for this place that’s known of their frozen yoghurts. American version of frozen yoghurt… Well, it’s basically just ice cream with different name. I don’t know are there some differences in ingredients but at least taste and texture are same.

In Orange Leaf Wisconsin Dells (Lake Delton) nearby Tanger Outlet there was froyo in 14 different flavors and about 40 different toppings to choice. You can find information about them at Orange Leaf’s site. When you’re ready with your ice they will weigh it, it costs 0.57 USD/oz.

I took sugar free vanilla froyo with some peanut butter froyo and dark chocolate topping. Vanilla was just vanilla but otherwise I liked my combo. I tasted my friends lime froyo, it was fresh and most likely the same than in Europe. So, if you like European froyo take lime and if you like American ice take something else. 😉

Service and decoration were nothing special but okay. We were waiting for something more amazing but this was just nice ice bar with many different flavors. However the idea of building your ice is fun.
